The CVX-CLC Global Safeguarding Committee, with members representing  different regions of our world community – Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin  America, Middle East, and North America – has begun a major review of Standing Order 16 (SO16): Protection for Minors and Vulnerable Persons Against Abuse.

The review marks a vital step in strengthening the community’s global  safeguarding framework and ensuring that it reflects both our charism  and lived realities of CVX-CLC as an Ignatian Lay Apostolic Body.

In its initial assessment, the committee identified significant  structural gaps requiring clarification, expansion, and deeper  integration into our community life. The intention is to extend the  scope of SO16 to all those connected with CVX-CLC: members, affiliates,  children, adults, retreatants, vulnerable persons, and all who are  engaged in its apostolic initiatives.

Key priorities include prevention measures, safeguarding formation,  commitment to Christ’s teachings, alignment with international  safeguarding standards, protocols for cooperation with civil  authorities, and adaptation to regional and local cultural contexts.

A Fresh Symbol for a Global Mission

The  Ignatian lay worldwide community CLC (Christian Life Community) has  just launched a new logo, which will be used as their one global visual  identity across all five continents.
The sun in the  new logo fits into the graphic and visual universe of the Ignatian  family, and shows a sun that rises and sets on the earth’s vast, curved  horizon, the dove drawing us forward bringing trust, hope, freedom and  peace
